The New Title Showcase at BookExpo America (BEA) is the #1 place to launch the new print or ebook titles. Created in partnership with Combined Book Exhibit (CBE), the New Title Showcase provides a venue on the BEA show floor to launch our new titles and put our books in the hands of 11,000+ BEA attendees plus 20,000 consumers at BookCon.
We presented the books of the following authors: Carol Margaret Tetlow (Out of Practice + Faith Hope and Clarity), Gary McGinnis (Good for One Ride), Jean-Patrick Mallinger (Conspiracy at Kheo), Judy Bruce (Voices in the Wind), Jean-Louis Riguet (Augustin. My Battle of Loigny), Opaline Allandet (Godefroy the Cruel), Louis J. Feinstein and Nancy Genovese (Swords of David).
The 2014 BookExpo America saw some huge changes, including the addition of BookCon, which brought 10 thousand members of the public onto the show floor. Another addition to the show floor in 2014 was the New Title Showcase, an official exhibit of BEA that used to be located in the lobby of the Javits Convention Center. The move of the New Title Showcase to the inside of the hall, near the popular downtown stage, and in the BookCon accessible area, so a huge uptake in activity, with attendance at a constant within the popular exhibit. Publishers, booksellers, librarians, distributors, media and many other facets of the 40 thousand or so people who attend all seemed to make their way through the New Title Showcase. The exhibit will remain stationary in 2015, expecting another great year of trade and increased public attendees (as BookCon has been expanded to two full days!). You can view and download the catalog below (page 37).
